Why do I need day 2 and 8 tests?

Covid testing is required within the Government guidance for those who are returning to the UK. If you are fully vaccinated, you must take a private PCR or lateral flow test before the end of day 2 once you arrive in the UK. You must isolate until you receive a negative result. You must also fill out a passenger locator form.

Regardless of your vaccination status, you must fill out your passenger locator form. If you are not fully vaccinated, you are also required to take both day 2 and day 8 tests; regardless of your result, you must isolate for the full 10 days. These tests must be PCR tests.

We advise that you visit the Government and Government website for guidance well in advance of your travel. We recommend that you book in with us as soon as you can so that you don’t get caught out before your flight.

Our reliable day 2 and 8 testing will give you everything you need to end your isolation with a negative result(/s). Our test requires a swab of your tonsils, or the area where your tonsils would normally be, as well as one nostril. The test will come in the form of a home testing kit; instructions will be provided. We have also included the helpful video above to demonstrate the testing procedure.
